How can we describe the weather. We have lived in Southern Hungary now for 17 months. Seen two Winters and only one Summer when temperatures were in the 30's almost every day. Yes a true mediterranean climate.
We Brits love the sun, we're almost sunworshipers and for this reason love warm climates. Here in Hungary you will find that after 10am (in Summer) it is too warm to work and even sunbathing becomes a chore - but, a pleasant one at that! We are protected on one side by rolling hills and often the village of Dobrokoz is 2°c more than Dombovar - 12 km away. Sun lounges and hammocks are available for you sunbathers.
Just finished the new rose trellis and feeling a little 'tanned-off' |
